<p>The Australian Songwriters Conference will be held Friday 6th - Monday 9th June 2008 (Queen’s Birthday long weekend) in the luxury surrounds of the elegantly-appointed 5-star Sofitel Wentworth Sydney in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.</p>
<p>Although songwriting camps and conferences are regularly held overseas, particularly in the USA, there has never been a conference of this scope, designed specifically for songwriters, held in Australia.</p>
<p>The Australian Songwriters Conference
will deal specifically and exclusively
with the craft and business of songwriting.</p>
<p>The ASC is unique in that it will be open to all songwriters, regardless of age, location, songwriting experience or genre. Songwriters do not need to be members of existing organisations, and the conference seminars, workshops and other activities will be relevant to both performing and non-performing songwriters. </p>
