    "Let Them Cry"

  • Joint Category Winner (Adult Contemporary)
    "The Perfect Getaway"

About Anna
My love for song writing began in early high school. We were lucky enough to have a music room decked out with a P.A system and musical instruments. Pretty soon I formed my own band and we were able to perform my original tunes at our school discos! I then started singing professionally since 1985 and have performed in a range of roles varying from acoustic solos to leading my own original band. I’ve also worked extensively on the Melbourne club/pub circuit with various cover bands over many years. In 1997 I released my independent self composed, self titled cd which was produced by Brian Canham.

Live supports that I’ve done over the years include Doug Parkinson, Stevie Wright, The Badloves, Cotton Burns and Morris.

As far as song writing goes I tend to write in the Country/Folk/Blues genre and love to draw on life experiences when writing.
